A Guide to the Next Few Weeks

Last updated Wednesday 4th November 2020

You don’t reach the ripe old age of 313 without encountering a few bumps in the road.

So, following the recent change to government restrictions, we have closed our stores in The Royal Exchange and St Pancras International along with all of our restaurants and bars until 2nd December, or until further guidance is issued stating otherwise.

We’re happy to say that our Lower Ground, Ground and First Floor Food Halls in Piccadilly are still open and ready to serve the local community, while our Heathrow Terminal 5 outpost is open too. And for all our customers, don’t forget you can still shop online with us for fast UK & international delivery.

You can also find out more about how you can enjoy the wonderful world of Fortnum’s during the next few weeks below.

Our Food Halls Are Open

Piccadilly has been the beating heart of Fortnum’s for centuries, and this is never more true than at this time of year – so we’re happy to say that following the recent change to government restrictions our Food Halls on Lower Ground, Ground and First Floors are still open and are ready to serve the local community with appropriate safety measures in place.

Book Ahead for December

Unfortunately if you have a restaurant booking with us on or before 2nd December, it has automatically been cancelled.

The good news is that our book is open to take reservations from 3rd December in case you’d like to plan ahead and book a future date at one of our restaurants in the lead up to Christmas or beyond.

Click and Collect is Still Available

Our Click and Collect Service in Piccadilly is operating until 25th November, meaning that until then you can shop online with us and pick up from our flagship.

Please note that our Click and Collect service is unavailable at our Royal Exchange and St Pancras International outposts during this time.

Delicious Dining, Delivered

Local residents in Piccadilly are able to order from 45 Jermyn Street via the SUPPER app and website. Our Fortnum’s at Home service is also available there too, and you can order ready-to-dine-on comfort food straight from our Piccadilly Food Halls.

We're Always At Your Service

If you visit us in-store our Red Coats will be on hand to answer any queries you might have. You can always be ensured that safety is our utmost priority and we've ensured that our stores are safe for you to visit – if you have any questions regarding Covid-19 please see our FAQs here.

If you have a query, you can contact us via webchat or below.

Safety is Our Utmost Priority

We ask that visitors kindly respect the measures we have put in place to help protect us all.

These include the implementation of social distancing throughout the store, one-way circulation routes on our stairways, till safety screens, regularly sanitised shopping baskets and the provision of hand sanitiser. You will find our team wearing face masks and visors; we assure you they are smiling beneath them.

We also ask all visitors to be patient and considerate of others.

Get Christmas All Wrapped Up

This year, our newly transformed Christmas Food department on the First Floor in Piccadilly is more than 60% bigger to help you shop more safely. Meanwhile, our famous Christmas Hamper department on the Third Floor sits alongside our decoration-packed Christmas Shop, and you’ll find glorious gifts across all six floors too.

Take a break from ticking off your gift list at our restaurants, whether it’s Afternoon Tea with a festive twist or a warming pick-me-up at the Hot Chocolate Bar in The Parlour

Discover All Six Floors of Piccadilly

Christmas is coming, but that's not the only thing causing a stir at Fortnum's.

We've launched our new Bespoke Tea Blending Service, and a very special chocolate has just arrived from the Caribbean by sailboat. Add to that our Cheese Festival, Honey Raffle, Chocolate Library Short Story Competition and more, and perhaps you'll find yourself busier this season than you imagined.

Plan your visit and give yourself as much time as possible to explore with our Floor by Floor Guide here.

Our Restaurants & Bars Are Open

Our restaurants and bars are open and ready to safely welcome you, and you can book your table here. Please remember that government guidelines state that your group (of up to six) must be within the same household or support bubble, with the exception of business breakfasts and lunches.

You can also peruse some of the treats and offers in each one, and about our safety measures here.

And Our Other Stores Are Too

There’s more to Fortnum’s than just 181 Piccadilly. We have other outposts across the capital, and further afield, for you to explore.

You can find all of your Fortnum's favourites in our stores in St Pancras International, The Royal Exchange, Heathrow T5 and most recently K11 MUSEA in Hong Kong.
