An earth-shaking revolution in our 300-year tea history, these very special bottles of bubbly blend a selection of our famous and rare teas, including Chinese Green, Gunpowder Green, Jasmine Green, Darjeeling, Japanese Matcha, Nepalese Jun Chiya, Ceylon Greenfield and Chinese Silver Needles. This is the first time that these eight teas have been combined into delicious bottles.
Drawing on the collective expertise of our wine and tea departments, the provenance of these brews is exemplary. At Fortnum's, we have been in the business of innovation for centuries, from crafting pioneering blends for monarchs to continuously sourcing the very best from around the globe. We’ve even infused tea into chocolate and biscuits, as well as our Amalthea Dry Gin.
These complex teas are layered with a unique depth of flavour and can be a light, refreshing and low or no-alcohol alternative to Champagne that will delight at parties and astound at Afternoon Tea – and be the most glamorous way to stay dry this season. With tropical fruits on the nose and a palate of lemongrass, Darjeeling and water mint, our Sparkling Tea is extremely versatile when it comes to food.
Pair with Fortnum’s Organic Smoked Salmon, Fortnum’s Melton Mowbray Pork Pie and Fortnum’s Farmhouse Pâté - and of course our famous Scotch Eggs.
Yes Way, Rosé
Fortnum’s Rosé Sparkling Tea is wonderfully crisp and elegant, yet notably drier than the original, with a pale pink hue and a subtle sweetness – using hibiscus alongside even more tea per litre than before.
The palate opens with notes of tropical fruits, cranberry, hints of ginger, and deep layers of Darjeeling – complemented by light, fresh Japanese Sencha.
Wonderful Winter Sparkling Tea
Our latest sparkling innovation has been created with wintertime celebrations in mind, and, unlike our other sparkling teas, Fortnum's Winter Sparkling Tea has a slight alcoholic kick!
We have blended two different organic chai teas which take centre stage in this complex and moreish brew - alongside a complement of Oolong and Darjeeling, as well as Silver Needle and Jasmine Teas for a celebratory, warming and generously spiced

Whichever tea takes your fancy, these Sparkling bottles are perfect for a range of occasions - but what exactly is Sparkling Tea? What makes it so special, and different from your usual brews? We spoke to someone who knows a thing or two when it comes to what makes Sparkling Tea so spectacular - our resident expert, Oscar Dodd.
First and foremost, what exactly is Sparkling Tea? And what makes it so revo-brew-tionary?
The most exciting, revolutionary – and delicious – way to enjoy tea since the invention of the tea bag.
Our recipes are made with a blend of up to 13 different teas in a combination of black, green, white and oolong. Only using the highest quality teas from the best plantations and producers around the world, including the prized First Flush Darjeeling and Silver Needle tea
Jacob Kocemba, the sommelier behind Sparkling Tea, hand-brews all our tea, since precision and craftsmanship are key to creating the right taste and feel. Using the correct brewing temperatures and time intervals are quintessential for the final result. Each tea is therefore handled individually, and every production is done in small batches to ensure no detail is overlooked.
The tea blends are married with a dash of white wine or grape must as natural sweetness and to complement and enhance the flavours of the teas. We also add other natural aromas, like lemongrass, hibiscus, and lemon juice, to hit just the right notes. There are no artificial additives.
It is carbonised, bottled, and rested for 8-12 weeks before shipping to allow all layers of aroma, flavour and texture to evolve and balance perfectly.
All are organic certified.
Is Sparkling Tea more of a tea or a spirit?
Very much a tea! We think it’s the most elevated alternative to traditional sparkling wines you’ll find.
