Fortnum & Makers: Meet our 2026 Winners!

Last year, we launched Fortnum & Makers – a UK and Ireland-wide search for talented artisans working across the food and drink industry.
And after finding so many wonderful makers last year, we decided we had to repeat the trick.
So, earlier this year, we launched our second annual search for the UK & Ireland’s very best new and undiscovered food and drink producers.
And now – after an impossibly competitive and very delicious judging process – we’re delighted to introduce the winners of the 2026 Fortnum & Makers Open Call.
Join us in-store soon to find their irresistible creations on the shelves here at Fortnum's, and keep reading to find out more about this year's talented winners.

Canny Mushrooms
Jo Davies was working in the United States when she decided to leave her tech job, and start a 20,000-mile cycle ride across the Americas. Somewhere along the way, Jo was inspired to turn her love of mushrooms into a business: two years later and now based in Edinburgh, Canny Mushrooms is thriving.
A truly unique proposition, these small-batch canned mushrooms are made from sustainable, locally sourced (and supremely nutritious) funghi and cold-pressed rapeseed oil, and promise exceptional flavour and freshness.
