An immersive experience awaits with every wall adorned with his wonderful illustrations, deliciously special dishes to enjoy, and sweet games to play and delight in.

Click and Collect will be closed from Friday 14th November until 5th January. Save time and effort with our Click & Collect service, which allows you to order your gifts online and collect them from our Piccadilly, Royal Exchange and St. Pancras stores.

Something big has taken place at Fortnum’s - arguably the most ambitious architectural project in our 300 year history. The Double Helix Staircase is both a piece of art and a feat of modern engineering, a brand new staircase ribboning its way through the atrium.

Our History
Ever since we opened its doors in 1707, our Piccadilly flagship has remained the beating heart of Fortnum’s. Founded by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason, we originally started life selling Queen Anne’s leftover candles. From then on, our story has been marked by endless innovation and playing a part in history, from inventing the Scotch Egg to fuelling the intrepid explorers who scaled Mount Everest in 1922. Today, we now boast five floors of extraordinary things to see, taste and do.
The Drawing Room

A light and beautiful room, lined with hand-painted silk wallpaper, our Drawing Room is a welcoming yet intimate location, ideal for celebrations of every description.
The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon

Elegant, tranquil and refined, The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon is the perfect location for a truly grand event – and our iconic Tea Salon can, on rare occasions, be hired in its entirety.
The Tasting Room

This relaxed and intimate bar takes its name from when we used to throw cocktail parties in customers' homes in the 1930s, and 3'6 shillings was the cost per head.
