Nestled just on the outskirts of Goosnargh Village overlooking Beacon Fell, Kirkham's Lancashire Cheese is made by hand, seven days a week, using milk exclusively from a herd of Holstein Friesian cows. With its wonderfully crumbly texture, which is both buttery and succulent, it is best enjoyed alongside Fortnum’s Caramelised Red Onion Marmalade with a glass of Fortnum’s Pauillac, Chateau Lacoste Borie.
