With over 1,200 varieties of French cheese, this selection box is an expertly curated collection of a few of our feasting favourites.
Bleu d ’Auvergne has been made since the mid-1850s and is a similar strength to Roquefort. Made with cow’s milk, this cheese has a slightly creamier flavour that is deliciously salty and strong.
Our Truffle Brie de Meaux is rich and indulgent – perfect for elevating your Christmas cheeseboard. Truffle Brie de Meaux is usually made with mascarpone and truffles, though ours has been hand truffled with black summer truffles and rich Brillat Savarin, a triple cream cheese delivering a truly decedent taste, without being overpowering.
No French cheeseboard could be complete without Comte! Ours is made in the Jura Mountains with milk from Montbeliarde and French Simmentale Cows. It has a wonderfully complex and fruity taste, and pairs perfectly with our Damson, Blackberry and Apple chutney.
Mothias sur Feuille is a complex and creamy goat’s cheese that is wrapped in a chestnut leaf. Whilst visually appealing, this also helps give the cheese moisture and we advise keeping the leaf on until it is eaten.
