The Fine Cheese Selection

Specially curated for foodies with a taste for the finer things, this impressive gourmet selection includes a bottle of Fortnum’s Côtes du Rhône, Walnut & Seed Crackers, a jar of Quince Cheese and a selection of four of the finest cheeses from artisan producers in the UK – along with our Plastic-Free Bag for Life.

The selection features four of our top selling cheeses. The first of those is our Blue Stilton Wedge. Staying true to the ancient production method of hand-ladling curd and animal rennets, this powerful, rich and intensely creamy cheese has the distinctive crumble and very gentle tang of a truly extraordinary Stilton. A fine addition to any cheeseboard, serve alongside slices of crisp apple to complement the buttery velvetiness of the cheese.

Next up we have our Cave Aged Cheddar Wedge. The epitome of traditional, handmade cheese-making, this wedge of genuine West Country mature cheddar cheese is cave-aged and bound in muslin cloth to ensure optimal flavour. Deliciously creamy, this mature cheddar is crumbly and nutty with a hint of spiciness, making it a superb example of how good a traditional cheddar can be.

Following on, there’s our Baron Bigod. This moreish brie-style cheese has a crumbly texture at the core with a silky breakdown at the rind. The flavour is a balance of clean, lactic brightness with mushroom, vegetal notes.

And finally, our Goat’s Cheese, made from pasteurised milk; smooth and dense with a creamy, lactic, lemony flavour.
