Pegaso Zeta Sierra de Gredos, 75cl

Zeta is produced by Pegaso in the rugged Sierra de Gredos, a collaboration between Telmo Rodríguez, Pablo Eguzkiza and Carlos Sainz Sr. Made from old-vine Garnacha grown at high altitude on granite and slate soils, the wine reflects both terroir and the intensity of the 2023 vintage. Hand-harvested fruit is fermented with indigenous yeasts in large open-top vessels, then aged briefly in oak before resting in stainless steel. Bright ruby in colour, it shows aromatic herbs, red berries and Mediterranean warmth. The palate is elegant yet expressive, with fine tannins, freshness and a lightly savoury edge. Pair with grilled lamb, roasted vegetables, charred meats or hard cheeses.
