Hailing from ancient, pre-phylloxera vines on the slopes of Mount Etna, Pietradolce’s Etna Rosso is a striking red made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, a varietal often described as a cross between Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Grown in mineral-rich volcanic soil, this wine hums with energy, delivering layered notes of wild herbs, spice, and ripe raspberry. Its supple tannins and creamy texture make it an approachable yet refined choice, particularly when served slightly chilled. Ideal with flame-grilled tuna steaks, beef carpaccio or even a rustic mushroom risotto.
