For Sunny Day Feasts
Toasted black fruits work in harmony with sweet vanilla spice and a touch of smoke in this classic example from Spain's most famous wine-producing regions, and is one of the ultimate partners to red meat dishes - particularly those served straight from the barbecue!
Sea-sonally Good
Located in the heart of the Appellation Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, near the village of Vallet, Domaine de la Moriniere's granitic soils and Melon de Bourgogne vines combine to create an elegant white with beautiful natural acidity and minerality. The wine is aged on its lees for seven months to provide an extra texture to balance the natural acidity and saline character - making this a great pairing for all seafood.
Simply the Zest...
Made from dry-farmed bush vine grapes grown in the western cape, where resplendent summers produce grapes with a beautiful golden hue, whilst the brisk winters and fresh Atlantic breezes offer acidity and freshness on the palate. Aged in stainless steel, the result is a wine rich with ripe, sun-drenched flavours and aromas - the ultimate complement to our zesty Mini Orange Ham.
An Al Fresco Treat
Influential winemaker Anselmo Mendes has crafted a juicy, aromatic wine with vibrant notes of apricot, tangerine and lemon - from the indigenous Iberian grape variety Avesso. It's that irresistible juiciness that makes it a wonderful pairing for seafood dishes, such as our Farmed Scottish Smoked Salmon.
For Hearty Sunny Day Feasts
Argentina's most prized grape variety, having originated in Bordeaux, this wine is a welcome bottle for summer. A must for lovers of rich ripe reds, offering typically concentrated and chocolatey ripe red fruits, it has a freshness that provides balance. Its full-bodied profile, great length and long, velvety finish make it an ideal match for hearty dishes like our Classic Beef Wellington.
Pink & Perfect!
A delicious blend of Pinot Noir and Glera grapes from the Zucchetto family’s own Prosecco vineyards. Bursting with strawberry, raspberry and pink pepper aromas. Elegant and crisp, peach and apple flavours emerge on the palate leading into a lively finish. Enjoy alongside seafood picks such as salmon or delicious cheese - all found within the Fortnum's Picnic Provisions Box.
