Meerlust Estate’s Stellenbosch Red is a judicious blend of two Cabernets (Sauvignon and Franc) and Merlot. Bright with an intense violet colour, this medium-bodied red is expressive on the nose and vivacious on the palate. The fruit not used for their top wine, the Rubicon, is used for the Stellenbosch Red, hence the quality is outstanding.
