Fortnum's Valpolicella, Corte Sant'Alda, 75cl

Fortnum’s has worked with Marinella Camerani since 2002. Her Valpolicella estate, Corte Sant’Alda, is recognised as a benchmark for both the region and for biodynamic farming. Named Gambero Rosso’s Winemaker of the Year 2024, Marinella produces wines that honour the land and express the character of the Val d’Illasi. Our Valpolicella displays pretty florals, cherry and a hint of almond. Juicy acidity and soft tannins make this a versatile wine for any occasion, that will work beautifully with pork, mushroom or tomato-based pasta dishes. The label design aims to capture Valpolicella's juicy fruit and texture in a painterly, cloud-like fresco.

Tasting Note
Bright and lively with sour cherry and subtle almond notes, this Valpolicella is refreshingly light. Enjoy slightly chilled with antipasti, fresh pasta or as an aperitivo.
