Envínate Albahra Almansa, 75cl

Albahra is produced by Envínate, a collective of winemakers known for low-intervention wines that reflect place above all else. Sourced from 25-year-old vineyards in Almansa, near Jumilla and Yecla, the blend of Garnacha Tintorera and Moravia Agria is grown organically on chalky clay soils at 800 metres altitude. Fermented in concrete with a portion of whole bunches and aged without oak, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes and minerality lead into a palate with bright acidity, structure and energy. Long, savoury and highly drinkable, it pairs well with grilled meats, spiced vegetables or hearty stews.
