Salcombe Gin Start Point, 70cl

Exceptional handcrafted gin, inspired by the sea. Salcombe Gin is distilled from the finest English wheat spirit, pure Dartmoor water and thirteen hand-sourced botanicals on ‘Provident’ a beautiful copper still overlooking the water in the stunning coastal town of Salcombe, South Devon.

Distinct notes of Corsican red grapefruit along with heady, earthy pine notes from the Macedonian juniper and lemon brightness from English coriander seed. It is perfectly balanced with warming spiced aromas on the nose. Rich, full and incredibly smooth on the palate, with a touch of earthy sweetness from liquorice and angelica root. The finish is fresh, lingering and balanced whilst lengthened by green cardamom.

Amazingly versatile, it is superb served on its own over ice or with a premium tonic water garnished with a slice of red grapefruit to complement the rich and warm citrus notes.
