Molino Real Mountain Blanco Málaga, 75cl

Mountain Blanco is produced by Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza, who are well known for their work reviving Málaga's historic mountain wines. Made from Muscat of Alexandria grown at high altitude in the Axarquía zone, the vines thrive on steep, schist-rich soils. The grapes are placed between two mats made from `esparto` (a straw-like material) and then crushed using an olive-oil press. The wine is then aged in bottle for 9-12 months before being released. This is a dry white wine, offering purity and restraint. Aromas of herbs and spice lead into a crunchy, peppery palate with herbal notes and a long, dry finish. Concentrated yet elegant, it pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, Mediterranean vegetables or lightly spiced dishes.
