The Juve family have been producers in Penedés region of north eastern Spain since the 1790's. The estate is currently managed by the third generation of the Juvé family, and production is completely centred on “Reserva” and “Gran Reserva” cavas. Every bottle is turned (riddled) by hand for between three and four weeks to remove the natural sediments, it is topped up and a finally corked.
The Family Reserve iconic Cava from Juve y Camps, aged for 40 months in bottle before release. Reserva de la Familia is made mainly from free-run juice" of Macabeu, Xarel•lo, Parellada and Chardonnay grapes. An intense, elegant nose with notes of ripe fruits and of long aging. Toast and distinguished citrus characters add to its complexity. A creamy mousse is fully integrated into the complex palate, which has a long, lingering finish.
