La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva Viña Arana, 75cl

This red wine has been aged for three years in American oak barrique, racked by hand every 6 months. This vintage has been said to be “without a doubt one of the best vintages ever for us in Rioja” according to winemaker Julio and won a gold medal at Decanter World Wine Awards with 96 points, the panel describing it as “utterly delicious”. The decadent wine is built to be enjoyed now, preferably with barbecued lamb chops or roasted red peppers.

Formed by five families in the late 19th century, the La Rioja Alta S.A. winery is one of the most iconic names in Fine Wine, and a benchmark for the traditional style of Rioja.
