Introducing Kus Budiyanto
An acclaimed visual artist whose work has been exhibited both in his native Indonesia and beyond, Kus Budiyanto’s bold and colourful work explores social and cultural subjects: referencing everything from childhood adventures, to Javanese folklore and traditions.
Representing an individual’s desire for knowledge, the artwork on this bar's packaging – a piece titled ‘Seribu Mata’, which translates as ‘1000 Eyes’ – conveys the idea that our pursuit of greater understanding is not a formality, but a lifelong journey towards happiness and fulfillment.
Each made with exceptional locally-sourced beans grown on sustainable cacao farms in Ghana, Guatemala, Indonesia, and the Solomon Islands, our new range of small batch, Single Origin chocolate bars is both a celebration of the finest bean-to-bar craftsmanship, and a unique opportunity to introduce the wider world to the extraordinary talent of the four local artists, whose designs grace the packaging of the bars.
