This wine, which was instrumental in Jeffrey Grosset's being made International Riesling Winemaker of the Year in 1998, has now received wide international acclaim. In the USA, Wine and Spirit Magazine has rated Grosset Polish Hill in its '25 Great Vineyards of the World'. In Australia, James Halliday has rated the last two vintages higher than any other Australian white wine from these vintages. Grosset Polish Hill is the only Riesling to be rated 'Outstanding' on the Langton Classification of Australian Wines. This is an exceptionally powerful and vibrant dry riesling, drinking beautifully when young but with the structure to reward those who wish to cellar this wine for up to fifteen years.
