Loimer Riesling Kamptal, 75cl

Produced by Fred Loimer in the Kamptal region of Lower Austria, this Riesling reflects both the challenges and precision of the 2024 vintage. Sourced from vineyards around Langenlois, with vines grown on gneiss, gravel and loess soils, the fruit benefits from warm days and cool nights that preserve aromatic clarity. Hand-harvested grapes undergo gentle pressing and slow fermentation in stainless steel, followed by extended lees ageing to retain freshness and texture. Aromatically expressive, the wine shows peach, kiwi, orange peel, candied ginger and hints of honey. The palate is juicy and supple, with focused stone fruit, lime zest and vibrant acidity leading to a clean, dry finish. Excellent with grilled fish, sushi, Asian-inspired dishes or fresh goat’s cheese.
