The nose is oily and sweet, abundant with wheat-character. This leads into a really satisfying, weighty palate with well integrated spice, black stone and peachy fruits, on to a long finish of sweet grains tantalising spice. It is full-on but perfectly balanced.

This bottling represents everything we look for in a Full-Proof bottling of Weller. A whisky that satisfies the demand of the non-chill filtered whisky enthusiasts, and honours the man who made wheated bourbon legendary. A perfect pairing to after-dinner coffee, petit fours and chocolate desserts.

William Larue Weller developed his original bourbon recipe with wheat, rather than rye. Bottled at the same 114 proof the spirit was when it entered into the barrel, this non-chill filtered, wheated bourbon forgoes chill filtration to preserve all the natural residual oils and flavours that occur during the distillation and ageing process.
