Fortnum's Vinho Verde, Adega de Monção, 75cl

This lively white from northern Portugal is made exclusively for Fortnum’s by Adega de Monção, the Minho region’s cooperative, founded in 1958 and a Fortnum’s partner since the 2016 vintage. Its label, with a cool, vibrant colour palette, mirrors the wine itself; bright, fresh, and full of life, reflecting the lush, “green” Minho landscape. A blend of the indigenous Alvarinho and Trajadura varieties, the wine is aromatic yet crisp and juicy, with zesty notes of lime and green apple. Perfect with shellfish, grilled fish, summer salads, or barbecued vegetables. The abstract design and its cool colour palette reflect the exuberant, fresh citrus flavours from this cool, literally “green” region of Portugal.
