Fortnum's Soave Classico, Inama, 75cl

Inama is arguably the most admired family-run estate in Soave Classico, the historic hillside heart of the Soave region, just outside Verona. Winemaker Stefano Inama is credited with revitalising the reputation of this important appellation through his focus on terroir-driven, mineral-inflected wines from meticulously farmed vineyards. Our Soave Classico, from estate-grown Garganega, displays all the purity and class of these ancient volcanic hillsides. It is fermented in stainless steel with gentle lees-ageing, which gives the wine a lovely, generous texture. The soft, assertive minerality carries delicious notes of peach, pear and white flowers alongside subtle almond. Ideal with risotto, white fish or grilled vegetables.
