Fortnum’s Rosé Prosecco, 75cl

A pretty pink Prosecco, made exclusively for Fortnum’s from Pinot Noir and Glera grapes by this third-generation family of winemakers based in the heart of the region. They hand-harvest their grapes, then ferment for six months in stainless steel tanks: the classic Charmat method. After an additional month resting in bottle, the result is a lively wine, none too sweet, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and pink pepper followed by peach, pear and apple on the palate. This will be delicious with a creamy risotto, smoked salmon and chocolate pudding.
