Fortnum’s English Sparkling Brut Rosé, 75cl

This delicate blend of the three classic Champagne varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, made exclusively for Fortnum’s from grapes grown in Gusbourne’s Kent and West Sussex vineyards, offers proof that the south of England now offers serious competition to the veteran sparkling winemakers across the Channel. Vinified to allow the pretty pink tint of the Pinot to colour the wine, it is fresh yet creamy and textured, with notes of ripe strawberries, fresh cherries and redcurrants, this will make a perfect partner for salads and lighter pasta dishes.
