Fortnum's Mince Pie & Marmalade Gin Liqueur, 50cl

Mince pies and marmalade are a surprisingly good match – surprising, that is, until you stop to consider that both owe their distinctive flavours to preserved fruit, particularly citrus: Seville oranges in the marmalade and Amalfi lemons and more oranges, plus cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and Cognac-infused raisins, in the pies. All that’s missing is a liquid accompaniment, so the Reverend Hubert liqueur company has combined spice, currants and fruit with dollops of Monarch Marmalade to create this unusual but festive gin liqueur, made exclusively for us.
