The domaine that produces our Pouilly-Fumé has belonged to the Chatelain family since 1630. It is located just north of the small market town of Pouilly-sur-Loire with the classic terroir of limestone and kimmeridgian clay.
Now in the eleventh generation, Jean-Claude is a master at producing unoaked wine that has both purity of fruit and the typical “gun-flint” character of Pouilly-Fumé.
Our Pouilly-Fumé is a wonderful example of why wines from the appellation are so sought after – it positively bursts with fruit whilst remaining supremely elegant.
