Fortnum's Pouilly-Fumé, Domaine Chatelain, 75cl

The Chatelain family have been growers in Pouilly-sur-Loire for generations, farming Sauvignon Blanc on the region’s distinctive flint and limestone soils. Under the guidance of Vincent Chatelain, the domaine produces precise, terroir-driven wines that highlight the appellation’s characteristic minerality, freshness and subtle smoky complexity. Chatelain have produced Fortnum’s classic Pouilly-Fumé since 1992, making them one of our longest-standing partnerships.

Tasting Note
This classic unoaked Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire’s best-known appellation offers precise citrus fruit and notes of flowers, herbs and grapefruit as well as the famous ‘gun flint’ note of Pouilly-Fumé. An ideal match for goat’s cheese or shellfish.
