Enchanted Forest Crackers

At Fortnum’s, we’ve been delighting customers with our legendary crackers for centuries. Our fame for these festive treats began in the Edwardian era, when Mead and Field – renowned Holborn cracker makers – crafted exclusive designs just for us. By the late 1920s, when our expanded store opened, we introduced a special cracker department where 45 Jermyn St. now stands. A standout attraction was our life-sized cracker, which could be pulled by up to 24 guests at once, showering everyone with toys, masks, games, and other fun surprises. Fast forward to 2017, and we introduced the six-person cracker, complete with witty jokes penned by Stephen Fry himself. 

Today, our crackers remain one-of-a-kind—crafted in England, brimming with Fortnum’s delicious treats, and filled with bespoke riddles and jokes, written in-house especially for you.
