Bowmore 18 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask, 70cl

This 18 Year Old expression is finished in Pedro Ximénez casks after ageing in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry oak. The result is a darker, fruitier style with real depth. Dark chocolate, orange zest and treacle toffee come through on the nose, balanced by subtle peat smoke. On the palate, bright fruit notes – sultana, pineapple and bittersweet orange peel – are layered with spice, cocoa and a savoury touch of aniseed. The finish is long, rich and beautifully complex.
