The Adelaide Hills in Australia had long been considered too cool to ripen Shiraz, however by the early 2000s, the potential for excellent Shiraz had been realised and by 2002 Shaw and Smith Shiraz was born. Since then their Shiraz in the hills has gone from strength to strength and is full of fragrance, intensity and medium-bodied elegance.
