'Protect' Sea Buckthorn & Blackberry Infusion, 15 Silky Tea Bags, 37.5g
Flavour profile: A berry-rich infusion of sea buckthorn and blackberry, this is notable for its bold flavour, deep colour and has been inspired by traditional berry blends enjoyed for generations.
The core of Protect: Angelica archangelica or Archangel root, traditionally used as a protective charm to keep unwelcome spirits at bay. It lends its storied character to this finely crafted blend, inviting warmth and good cheer in to take their place.
Protect is part of a collection of intriguing infusions created in partnership with Chelsea Physic Garden; the only botanic garden in London devoted to the study and propagation of medicinal, herbal – and some would say, magical – plants.

Behind the Beautiful Illustrations
Each blend in this range is a delight for the senses, but the story behind the brews truly comes alive through the exquisite packaging illustrations - which were created by artists from Chelsea Physic Garden’s Florilegium Society. These detailed drawings depict the very botanicals found in each tea, continuing a centuries-old tradition of botanical art. The Florilegium Society, the world’s oldest and largest contemporary florilegium, documents scientifically significant flora in Chelsea’s historic garden - an art form inspired by Elizabeth Blackwell’s 18th-century book A Curious Herbal. Today, up to 60 accomplished artists continue this legacy, and we’re utterly thrilled that their work decorates our teas.
