A Spanish nobleman, the Marques de Valdueza, produces this fine extra virgin olive oil that comes exclusively from the first pressing of olives grown on his family's estate. Because he is producing a small quantity, the olives are pressed within an hour of picking.
This olive oil is medium, fruity and flavourful. The harmonious combination of four varieties of olive gives his oil its unique style: A pretty aroma, with top notes of mango and papaya and some deeper tones of tomato leaves. In the mouth there is a lovely creamy texture with sweet cobnut flavours balanced by a nice walnut-skin bitterness. A versatile oil, perfect for dressing fish or fresh vegetables.
