As the name implies, this wonderful tea is grown using innovative sustainable agricultural methods in the heart of the Southern Indian Nilgiri Hills in the beautiful Kotada garden – where tea grows alongside coffee, vanilla, cardamom and pepper.
Made from only the young succulent buds of the tea bush, it is a beautifully pale white tea with straw notes and a soft, mellow flavour. Once brewed, the flavours and aromas are complex and elegant, making Kotada Silver Tips a perfect tea to sip with teatime treats like Victoria Sponge, Scones, or even ice-cream.
Boil water and allow to cool for 2 minutes (90°C) before pouring, then brew for 5 minutes. Best served without milk.
