Gosset Grande Réserve Champagne NV in Gift Box, 75cl

Gosset was founded in 1584, making it the oldest wine house in Champagne. Although it is tiny in comparison to many of the better known brands, the quality is superb. A point of pride at Gosset is that they mature their wines for four years, which is significantly longer than the 15 months that is required for non-vintage champagnes.

The Grande Réserve is a non-vintage cuvée blended from three vintages, comprising 46% Chardonnay, 39% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier, including 12% reserve wines. The palate is rich and vinous, with lovely biscuit and fig nuances on the finish. This is a very luxurious Champagne that is perfect for special occasions.
