Fortnum's Western Cape Chenin Blanc, 75cl

A versatile Chenin Blanc from Warwick Estate in South Africa’s Western Cape, with notes of orchard fruit, citrus, honey and spice, balanced with freshness thanks to the Atlantic breezes that cool the vines. Warwick was founded in 1964 by the Ratcliffe family, and Norma Ratcliffe was one of the Cape’s first female winemakers. This wine has citrus notes that would make a great match for seafood; it will also work well with Asian cuisines or creamy cheeses. The wine is new to our list, and is exclusive to Fortnum’s.
