Fortnum's Sancerre Rosé, Firmin Dezat, 75cl

The Dezat family is one of the oldest winegrowing families in the Sancerre region, with records dating back to the 1500s. Firmin Dezat is the 18th generation to make wine at their estate. This young, passionate winemaker this beautiful Sancerre Rosé from vineyards around the village of Verdigny. The vines all grow on the famous chalk and flint soils of the region, and are farmed with minimal intervention, encouraging soil health and biodiversity.

Tasting Note
This elegant Pinot Noir rosé is precise and delicate, capturing Sancerre’s hallmark purity in a refined, food-friendly style. It displays a wonderful perfume of strawberries and raspberries and has a zesty, orange-peel note that makes for a beautifully more textured rosé.
