Fortnum's Dry Riesling, Neiss, 75cl

Axel Neiss's family has farmed its limestone-rich vineyards in the Pfalz region of southern Germany since the 17th century. Organic practices, low yields and careful canopy management are central to their viticulture. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentations and low-intervention winemaking produce wines with a classical elegance. Our dry Riesling combines ripe fruit with mineral tension and an expressive detailed texture. It displays zesty lemon, ripe stone fruits, and delicate honeysuckle aromas, all lifted by a mouth-watering acidity. This wine pairs beautifully across a broad range of dishes, including grilled white fish, sushi, or lightly spiced dishes like Pad Thai or lemongrass chicken. The label's geometric, crystalline imagery reflects the vibrant citrus and floral characteristics of the wine, while the typography is influenced by the 1930s Bauhaus look of Jasmine Hortop's illustration.
