Cuilleron Viognier, 75cl

A top star domaine, Yves Cuilleron took over the reins as the 4th generation vigneron in 1987. Based in Chavanay just south of Condrieu, where the steep-sided vineyards come right down to the winding Rhone river in the Northern region of the Rhone Valley, this cuvee of 100% Viognier grapes is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to retain its glorious freshness.

It has a wonderful depth of fruit and a good balance of acidity with a flavour reminiscent of white peaches. Perfect on it’s own or to accompany a full flavoured fish dish like monkfish or sea bream.
