Au Bon Climat’s Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir reflects the cool-climate precision of this renowned AVA. Sourced from Bien Nacido, Runway and Solomon Hills, the wine balances aromatics, density and structure. Fermented in open-top fermenters with twice-daily punch downs, and aged 12 months in French oak (10% new), it shows strawberry compote, blood orange and baking spice, lifted by lively acidity and fine structure. Lightly fined and bottled unfiltered, it is a poised, savoury and classically styled Pinot Noir.
