Au Bon Climat Hildegard Santa Maria Valley, 75cl

Au Bon Climat’s Hildegard is a Burgundian-inspired blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Aligoté, named after Charlemagne’s wife. Crafted in Santa Maria Valley, one of California’s coolest regions, the wine is fermented and aged for 16 months in new François Frères French oak. Hand harvested and barrel fermented with malolactic completed in barrel, it delivers jasmine and cherry blossom aromas, followed by lemon cream, nutmeg and layers of pie crust and macadamia. Textured, complex and finely balanced, it is a distinctive and food-friendly white.
