Whitewolfe Estates KC4 Chardonnay, 75cl

Founded by friends Clare Whitehead and Luke Wolfe, Whitewolfe Estates is one of England’s most compelling new voices in Chardonnay. From their nine-hectare vineyard on Kit’s Coty in Kent’s North Downs, they are quietly redefining what English still wine can be.

Selected from barrels showing particular tension and depth, KC4 displays striking energy and clarity, with aromas of Amalfi lemon, flint and a subtle struck-match note. The palate is medium-bodied yet layered, offering fresh citrus peel and brioche, underpinned by saline minerality and a gently creamy texture. The finish is long, elegant and finely etched, with impressive poise.

An excellent partner for refined seafood dishes such as grilled Dover sole, scallops with brown butter, or shellfish with citrus accents. It also shines alongside roast chicken, creamy mushroom dishes or aged hard cheeses.
