Theatre of Christmas 10" Plate

Please take your seats: the Theatre of Christmas collection is here, a festive range designed by Cath Kidston Padgham MBE’s studio, Joy of Print, where every detail plays its part in a showstopping seasonal spectacle. From hand-crafted ceramics, made and decorated in Stoke-on-Trent and passing through more than twenty pairs of skilled hands, to beautifully woven linens sourced from renowned Italian makers, each piece combines artistry, craftsmanship and a touch of Christmas magic.

Set around an enchanting teatime scene, the collection stars Harlequin, the mischievous and quick-witted character who once appeared in Fortnum’s Christmas catalogues of the 1950s. Surrounded by swags of holly and mistletoe, he arrives laden with mince pies, sweets and seasonal delights. Whether gathering for Christmas pudding, festive treats or a leisurely afternoon with loved ones, this is a collection destined to make every celebration feel a little more extraordinary.
