Taylor's, Quinta da Vargellas Port

The steep Quinta de Vargellas vineyards in the Upper Corgo of the Douro Valley are amongst some of the most beautiful in the world, from which Taylors has been producing some of the finest Port wines since the 1820s.

When comparing the declared Taylor’s Vintages, Quinta de Vargellas Vintage Port is typically earlier to mature, and this bottle provides delectable fruitcake notes and spices, with the palate being of a smooth and satin texture with warm plum and cherry jam flavours with a hint of violet.

This port pairs well with blue cheese, vintage manchego and walnuts.

Did you know? Taylor's was founded in 1692 and is one of the founding Port Houses, which also remains independent and family-owned today.
