White Port Cocktail
A favourite of the locals in Portugal's Douro Valley, White Port & Tonic is here to give the traditional Gin & Tonic a run for its money in the refreshing summer drinks stakes. Simple to make, it's just the stuff to cool off with beneath the beaming British sun.
Made especially for Fortnum’s by our wine buyer and Dirk Niepoort - of the famous house of Niepoort, crafters of world-class ports since 1842 - our White Port delivers wonderfully refreshing honeysuckle and butterscotch notes. Enjoy.

Ingredients
Fortnum's White Port
Tonic Water
Fresh Mint Leaves
Ice
Method
STEP 1
Pour yourself a good glug (about 1/3 of a tall glass) over a handful of ice.
STEP 2
Top with good quality Tonic Water - we recommend Fever Tree.
STEP 3
Finish with a sprig of bruised mint leaf, and enjoy with a bowl of lightly salted almonds or mixed olives for company.
