ABOUT THE AWARDS
The 14th annual Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards honour the richness and diversity in food and drink writing and broadcasting. Recognised for their varied cultural influences, culinary traditions, and storytelling, these talented individuals inspire us to deepen our appreciation of food and drink through their impactful work.
An independent panel of expert judges, led by Angela Hartnett OBE, select the winners in 12 categories from work published or broadcast in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland between 1st January and 31st December 2025.

The Photographer of the Year category - presented in partnership with the World Food Photography Awards, sponsored by Tenderstem® - is judged by Caroline Kenyon, founder of the WFPA; Eliza Williams, editor of Creative Review; and Tom Athron, CEO of Fortnum & Mason. The entry process remains the same.
The winner in each category receives a unique 3-D printed Trophy created by eco-parametric architects Mamou-Mani and a Fortnum & Mason Hamper.

"It was such an honour to take home the Food Writer Award at the 2025 ceremony. The Awards are a genuine celebration of talent in food and drink media, so having my hard work recognised on this scale is very meaningful - an evening and accomplishment I will never forget."
