Saumur Rouge Mazurique, Arnaud Lambert, 75cl

Made from 40 year old Cabernet Franc vines grown on sandy-limestone soils, this Saumur Rouge is vinified in stainless steel and concrete to preserve freshness and purity. It offers bright red fruit, soft tannins and a mineral edge, with a lightly savoury character. A versatile Loire red that pairs well with beef carpaccio, poached turbot or mushroom-based dishes. Drink now or cellar for up to six years.
