Sandeman 20 Year Old Tawny, 70cl

Grapes destined for Aged Tawny Ports require intense flavour concentration to withstand decades of aging in barrels. For Sandeman's 20-Year-Old Tawny, the grapes are sourced from premium vineyard sites in the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro, including the stunning Quinta do Seixo estate. The blend features a high proportion of fruit from old vines, which yield lower quantities of highly concentrated grapes. The 20-Year-Old Tawny is a masterful blend of wines aged between 15 and 40 years.

The wine displays a rich tawny colour. On the nose, there are pronounced aromas of dried fruits, honey, and roasted nuts, accented by spicy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, it offers remarkable elegance with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The complex flavours evolve on a concentrated and long-lasting finish.
