Hubert de Montille was a legend of Burgundy, and had a small Domaine in Volnay; since his son, Etienne, took over the reins, the Domaine has changed almost unrecognisably and is now 7 times the size, with vineyards all over the Côte d’Or. This impressive evolution has seen Hubert working alongside Etienne has been Brian Sieve, the Californian winemaker with a talent for making refined, elegant wines, such as this Organic Chardonnay.
