Introducing a limited edition series of botanical prints, specially reproduced – with bespoke framing – from a set of 19th century antique floral lithographs by the notable artist J. Andrews. These illustrations were originally published in the 1862 edition of 'The Floral Magazine' – a publication containing spectacular hand-coloured plates and descriptions of popular garden flowers. This series was developed as part of an exclusive collaboration with Petri Prints, a small family-run business specialising in sourcing and framing antique art related to food, science and nature.
Each flower has been printed on museum-grade 310gsm fine art paper, with an off white and terracotta double accent mount and a celadon coloured lacquer wooden frame. Frames contain a backing board and UV filtering acrylic glaze to help preserve the artwork's longevity.
Limited edition numbers have been marked on the backs of the print in pencil and on the back of the frame in pen, beneath a Petri Prints ink stamp.
External Frame Dimensions: 33.5cm(H) x 25.5cm(W)
